Hygrophorus russula and B. edulis

We usually only chance upon one or two of these a season.  A very beautiful mushroom, the Hygrophorus russula.  The stem and cap have streaks of deep pink. This one was growing under some trees along the edge of a parking area.


We also have been getting a fair number of Boletus edulis to add to the fry pan:)
