We have reports of many folks finding morels in the southern parts of the state right now. For those of you down there, better get out in the woods!

So it is approaching peak morel season here in the Badger state and your last post was 05/07? Gimme a break, what have you got, 3 members? Close your website if this is all you got!

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately our corner of the state has very few morels, therefore we don't post reports on the morel season. There are many other web sources out there if that is what interests you.

Our club had over 60 members currently. Most of them do not live in morel country either. We concentrate on fungi fruiting mainly in late July through October. We like to highlight some of the more unusual mushrooms on our blog. So if you are looking for a blog pointing you to when and where to pick various edibles, you probably should look elsewhere.
